Former captains Brian Lara and Ramnaresh Sarwan will be assisting the West Indies with the preparation for the upcoming two test series against India. Lara and Sarwan will be part of the pre-series camp to be held in Antigua ahead of the first test match starting next week Thursday at the Sir Viv Richards Stadium.
The second test will be held from August 30 to September 3 at Sabina Park in Kingston. Lara and Sarwan are expected to share their experience and expertise with the team’s batsmen in particular. The two two-match series will signal the start of the new ICC World Test Championship for both teams.
