The nominees for the RJR Sports Foundation's Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year 2012 were announced on Monday morning.
The nominees for Sportswoman of the Year are Alcia Ashley (boxing), Alia Atkinson (Swimming), Veronica Campbell Brown, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce and Kaliese Spencer (athletics) and Staphanie Tayor (cricket)
For the Sportsman of the Year title the nominees are athletes Nickel Ashmeade, Yohan Blake, Usain Bolt, Hansle Parchment and Warren Weir, along with cricketers Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Pegasus Hotel on Jan 11, 2013.
