Jamaica’s senior men’s football team continued its downward slide in the FIFA world rankings, slipping 15 places to 100 in the latest listing published on Thursday. This follows the Winfried Schaefer coached side’s recent 1-3 loss to Canada.
The Reggae Boyz also fell three spots to ten in the regional grouping, CONCACAF, which is being led by Costa Rica, ranked 15 in the world.
The Jamaicans will have opportunities to improve their ranking when they face Japan on October 10, before being engaged in the Caribbean Cup in Montego bay from November 10-17.
