The Reggae Boyz suffered a 2-0 defeat against Central American team El Salvador in the CONCACAF Nations League at the Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador on Saturday night. Nelson Bonilla opened the scoring in the 49th minute for the Central American team. Jamaica's Damion Lowe own goal in minute 85 made it two for the host.
Striker Darren Mattocks was issued a straight red card in stoppage time. Jamaica has nine points from three games after wins over the Cayman Islands, Bonaire and Suriname. Despite the loss, the Reggae Boyz still qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Reggae Boyz will next be in action on Tuesday against Costa Rica in San Jose Province
