Scorpions brace for CCC challenge

The Jamaica Scorpions are not expecting an easy ride from the Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners when they meet in the opening match of the regional Super50 tournament on Tuesday. The teams will meet at the Three W's Oval in Barbados.

Both failed to make the semi-finals last year and although the Scorpions enter with a stronger line-up, leg spinner Damion Jacobs expects a strong challenge from the university men.

“These guys have something to prove; they have never beaten Jamaica so they always come with something to prove so we will have to just play our game, stick to the basics and see how the game goes on the day,” remarked Jacobs.
