Special Olympics Winter Games team back home

Jamaica's successful team to the Special Olympics Winter Games in Austria returned to the island on Sunday. The team won five medals comprising three gold, one silver and one bronze, Jamaica's best ever haul at the Special Olympics Winter Games.

Speed skater Romaine Austin won two of the nation's three gold medals with victory coming in division 18 of the 333 metre race and division 15 of the 500 metre race.  

Dave Oddman secured the other gold in division 32 of the speed skating event as well as silver in division 23 in the 222-metre speed skating race.

The nation's bronze medals came in floor hockey, after Jamaica's team edged Costa Rica 2-1 for third place.
