Spurs remain unbeaten in Elite Netball League

The Connie Francis-coached Manchester Spurs remain unbeaten in the Berger Elite Netball League after beating St.Catherine Racers 50 - 42 at the Leila Robinson Courts on Thursday. Anna-Kay Griffiths led the way for the Spurs with 25 goals from 33 attempts as they made it five wins from as many games to lead the standings on 15 points.

Meanwhile, St James Sharpes led by former national captain Simone Forbes, upset the Kingston Hummingbirds 48 -45. Forbes had 36 goals from 39 attempts. Action continues on Saturday with a double header at the Leila Robinson Courts starting at 5:30pm.
