Under-17 Reggae Boyz face tough Mexican test at CONCACAF Championship

The national Under-17 team's World Cup hopes hinge on a first ever victory against Mexico at this level as they clash in a CONCACAF Championship Group ‘C’ contest starting 7:30 pm on Saturday. The game will be a must-win for jthe young Reggae Boyz at the Estadio Maracana de Panama.

The Andrew Edwards-coached Jamaicans have three points and a minus three goal difference and victory will guarantee them a spot in the next round.

However, a draw or defeat will see Mexico going through with the United States who play El Salvador in the group's other game at 5:00 pm. Jamaica lost 5-0 to the USA in their opener before bouncing back with a 3-1 victory over El Salvador.
