Jamaica's female footballers went down 3-0 to the United States at the CONCACAF Under 20 championship to qualify for the World Cup later this year.
The Americans have now secured their place in the semi-finals while to qualify Jamaica must now beat Costa Rica on Monday.
The Costa Ricans had beaten Guatemala 5-1 in Saturday's other Group A encounter. Trinidad and Tobago can book a semi-final spot with a win over Cayman Islands Sunday ight and Mexico who also have 3 points beat Honduras in the Group B encounter.
