Former Jamaica and West Indies player Wavell Hinds says he believes the door is still open for the likes of Sunil Narine, Darren Bravo and Kieron Pollard to represent the West Indies at next year's World Cup in England. Cricket West Indies president Dave Cameron suggested in January that the trio could miss out on being selected for the ICC World Cup after making themselves unavailable for the qualification campaign in Zimbabwe.
With the West Indies having qualified, Hinds the current WIPA president says the criteria for selection to the West Indies team still gives the trio a shot at being selected. But, Hinds Cricket West Indies and all stakeholders need to come to terms with the changing landscape of international cricket which has seen West Indies players playing in T20 Leagues around the world.
