Jamaica maintains perfect record in regional T20 competition

Chedean Nation top-scored to lead Jamaica to their third straight victory in the regional Women's Twenty20 Championship match at Kensington Park. The Jamaicans beat the Leeward Islands by 7 wickets.

Chasing 69 to win, Nation led the way for the Jamaicans with 28 not out while captain Stafanie Taylor scored 19 against Tiffany Thorpe with 2-11. Earlier, the Leewards could only make 68 all out from 20 overs with Eldora Sylvester 13, being the top scorer against Vanessa Watts with 5-9.

Barbados also remained perfect from three games as they defeated title holders Trinidad and Tobago by 6 wickets at Sabina Park. Needing 93 runs to win, Barbados reached their target with just 4 wickets lost. Hayley Matthews led the way with 39. Earlier, Britney Cooper top-scored with 47 as T&T posted 92-5 from their 20 overs. Shamilia Connell took 2-17.
