"Stew Peas" takes over as head coach at Harbour View

Former Reggae Boy defender Damion "Stew Peas" Stewart has been appointed the new head coach of Harbour View Football Club. Stewart who played for the “Stars of the East” between 1999 and 2006, replaces Howard Cephas who had quit the post after just three months on the job.

Cephas had cited inside interference as well as lack of a contract and salary issues for his departure. Harbour View who lost 3-0 to Arnett Gardens on Monday night,  are currently lying 6th in the RSPL table. The 39 year old Stewart ended his playing career in 2017 with Perlis FC in Malaysia. Durring his playing career, he also spent time in England with Bradford City, Queens Park Rangers, Bristol City and Notts County.
