Jamaica starts competition at Carebaco tourney

Jamaica's badminton players bow into action with the start of singles competition at the Carebaco International tournament in Aruba on Thursday.

Mikhaylia Haldane and Katherine Wynter carry the nation's hopes in the women's singles, with Kenneth Anglin, Matthew Lee and Samuel Ricketts seeking honours in the men's contest.

Jamaica's Gareth Henry had won the men's singles title last year in the Dominican Republic, and had teamed with Wynter for silver in the mixed doubles.
